Christmas

So even though Dan and I are the same family, I'll give a few different details about what we did.

Dec 22nd
We decided to go down a day early to avoid bad weather so we ended up surprising Dan's parents. I didn't get to "see" them however since dan had to Gary's rear-wheel drive truck. We chatted for a bit then slept.

Dec 23rd
Went to my Fathers which was nice. My step-mom decided to make us meatballs, a potato dish and trifel since we would be eating turkey all week. We opened gifts then stepped outside to see the blizzard we had tried to miss....drive took twice as long.

Dec 24th
Went over to a friend of Dan's who has a five month old so Ariana met a new friend. The baby was 22lbs and looked like he was 1. He was cute though.
After we got home about seven people came over and we had meatballs, the same potato dish and seafood salad...sorry Janis...it's the thought that counts. Afterwards we opened gifts. Ariana got a few earlier such as her play pen. Like I wasn't going to take advantage of that one right away.

Dec 25th
Went over to Aunt Teresa's with about 20 family and had a more Italian dinner. Mom (louise) decided to let Ariana try some of the canoli filling and she loooovveeeed it. She was smacking her lips for an hour. Now I know she's not allergic to cheese yay. Dad fell asleep for three hours on the couch while a few of us played 31, different than 21 but really fun.

Dec 26th
The whole family...all 60 something of them...came to the restaurant. I spent the morning helping set up...I actually was needed which was nice. I got to fill the canoli which as little as it seems made me feel at home. I mean it is the Canoli afterall. Dinner consisted of lots of food, family and cards.
Dan and I went to see Seven Pounds after using my uncles gift card have gave us. Such a great movie.

Dec 27th
We relaxed all day at home then when mom and dad babysat we went out to play lazer tag with about seven people. It was fun. It's been a few years but I was about middle each game so I was proud of myself. While Dan went back to one's house I went home and slept knowing I had to get up early to tend to baby.

Dec 28th
Came home. I spent the entire drive in the back to entertain Ariana who wasn't in the mood to sleep at all. Poor dan was stuck at the front.
Dave came over after we got home. We couldn't be very social since Ariana realllllly needed a bath and we hadn't finished unpacking. Sorry Dave.

Dec 29th
I tried to stay home to no avail. I went out to buy a game for new years, go to doctors then get new glasses. I can't wait..they look better than the old ones and they have the transition lenses.

Dec 30th
Well here we are in the present but I'm not done yet...oh no. Tonight dan and I are going over to my friends place to hang out with them. I haven't seen them in a year or so so it should be nice.

Dec 31st
New Year's at the Williams...need I say more.

Jan 1st
Make the loooonnnnggggg trip back in the snow...so it's told to do. I might bring Ariana in the front pack. We'll see. Then grocery shopping.

Jan 2nd
STAY HOME ALL DAY LONG....and pack.

Jan 3rd
Going to my mom's for our Christmas. I get to take Ariana on the bus to Hamilton. Won't that be fun *rolls eyes*

Jan 4th
Open gifts with parents then have a nice small dinner

Jan 5th
Go to my aunts to have christmas dinner there and show off Ariana since noone has seen her yet on that side. Should be nice.

Jan 6th.
Go back home and hermit myself for a few days to recover from once again a crazy christmas holiday. Next year I'm escaping to Italy...I hope.
